DIY MISTS !
Our skin requires all the care it needs. Sometimes just washing and moisturising won’t do, you just need to do that extra bit to keep your skin glowing and supple.
Here are some simple DIY mists that require minimal ingredients yet produce great results !
You can carry them with you and spray them on your face and dab with a cotton pad to regain that fresh look!
1. GREEN TEA MIST
Green tea does wonders to skin and body. That extra hour in the sun leads to extra care. This green tea mist with vitamin E not only eliminates all the dirt but also leaves it moisturised.
Ingredients – GREEN TEA WATER & (chilled), VITAMIN E GEL. Mix both till diluted and pour in a spray bottle and chill.
2. CITRUS MIST
As mentioned in my “products that I swear by” post, vitamin C is great for skin. It helps deal with blemishes, pigmentation and skin lightening. This mist is great for dry skin.
Ingredients – ORANGE BLOSSOM WATER, LEMON OIL AND PEPPERMINT OIL.
3. ROSE AND MINT MIST
This one is my favourite ! I use it at night time when I have spent the whole day outdoors or when my skin feels dry.
INGREDIENTS – FRESH ROSE PETALS, MINT LEAVES, GLYCERIN, EUCALYPTUS OIL.
Boil the petals and mint leaves and let it cool down. Mix one tsp of glycerin and eucalyptus oil to the cooled and strained water and chill.
What mists do you use ? Tell us. !
