LAKME CC CREAM REVIEW !!
I am not at all a morning person. I hit snooze button on my alarm as many times as I can until I have barely enough time to get ready and be out of the door. Since I have a combination of dry and oily skin, I can never miss moisturizer. But in the crazy schedules, I either skip the sunscreen or face compact or both. And during such times I thank all gods for CC cream! 😀
I do not use foundation every day , and prefer using BB or CC creams for daily work especially during time crunch. LAKME’S CC CREAM has been my favourite product for few months now. It comes in two shades; bronze for darker skin and beige for light/medium skin. The colour tint I chose was beige and it suited my light brown skin tone well.
WHAT ARE CC CREAMS?
The CC initials typically stand for “colour” and “correct.” CC cream is basically a next generation BB cream and provide more coverage than BB cream. It also has higher SPF to protect and beautify skin. Its mousse like texture blends easily and, supposedly has a more radiant look.
The product is a little thick in consistency though IT BLENDS LIKE A DREAM! you need a little more than your typical BB cream. Like i mentioned above, I have a combination skin, more oily during summers and dry during rainy/winter season. I prefer using a moisturizer underneath when my skin is dry, and on days when I am in a hurry, I mix a little of the moisturizer with the CC cream and then directly apply it on my face. It gives a fresh, dewy look; or else it will drag during application and will be difficult to blend properly. When my skin is oily, I surely need a compact. I find it better to blend it with my fingers; rather than using a brush or a sponge.
Coverage is pretty good for a CC cream. It blurs out pores, fine lines and slight blemishes, providing a smooth, airbrush finish. It will not cover any major blemishes; that is the work of foundations and concealers. However, it is good enough for everyday use; when you are having a no-makeup day, and the coverage is exactly like that of many low-coverage foundations.
Must have in a bridesmaid’s makeup kit ?? I THINK SO!!
Price : Rs.250 for 30 ml.
Ratings : 4 /5
Final Verdict : It is a good CC cream for everyday use and the biggest advantage it offers is the SPF 20. I highly recommend it to everyone.
