LOTUS-OPULENCE BOTANICAL EYELINER !!
If you are following me on Instagram, you would know that I’m a eye-makeup fanatic. I have tried eye pencils, liquid liners, pen liners, felt tip liners, kajal from almost every brand that’s available in Chennai and I still long for more :P. If you are a bride to be and still haven’t got your hands on a good eye liner that suits you then you are definitely doing something wrong !
I think it was about a year back that I read some post about how liquid liners work better and I wanted to give it a try ( was more fond of eye pencils/gel liners till then). I went onto try few liquid liners from different brands and to my delight, I found LOTUS – Opulence botanical eyeliner. And boi, I have been using this beauty ever since.
It comes in a small pot-like packaging with a conical felt tip applicator. The almond oil+ camphor combination gives a mild cooling effect on your eyelids as soon as you apply it. Though the cooling effect subsides on drying and is very temporary, it feels really nice. The felt tip allows me to have a control over lining and it gives me a thick and bold winged finish with ease(just the way I prefer). If you have butterfingers like me, then this is your go to product!! :p
What I really like about the product is the wear time. It lasts for good 5-6 hours for me(might vary for you depending on how oily your lids get during the day),and it doesn’t smudge that much!! I have very sensitive eyes and the liner does not make my lids feel dry or irritable. The application can’t get any smoother than this one and gets dried fast within seconds. If you like your eye liner glossy or shiny then let me warn you, this product isn’t for you as it is matte finish.
The only drawback I find is that the liner isn’t really water proof as they claim, it comes off easily with the contact of water.
