Must have “ALL ABOUT THE BRIDE” photographs !!
The wedding you have always dreamt of, Your better half, your favourite people around and a million special moments. I personally feel wedding photography is invaluable for any married couple . On your wedding day, you will want to make sure your photographer captures those essential details you worked so hard on. To help him/her out, you need to have a list of “must have photographs“.
Before your wedding day you will want to give some thought to the kind of photographs you want to be taken. Many photographers will have a list of suggested wedding pictures as well as albums of past photos to give you ideas of available wedding photo style options. Once you have selected the “must have wedding photos”, make a list, make a copy of the list for the photographer and go over that list with your wedding photographer to make sure all of the special moments of your wedding day are beautifully captured.
Somewhere in between pinning away some gorgeous wedding photos on pinterest every morning and dreaming about my future wedding photo shoot, I decided to do this post on “essential list” that every bride to be should have in mind.
YOUR BRIDAL OUTFIT : If you’re like most of the brides I know, searching for the perfect dress was time-consuming, wonderful, and just a bit stressful. Since you’re only going to be wearing it once, make the most of your big day by taking all kinds of photos :p . Before you put it on, let the photographer capture some amazing shots of that beautiful piece of art.
There’s a reason why outfit-on-hanger shots are so popular! The styled pictures evoke the calm before the storm and don’t let anything compete with the dress.
The hanger shot is a sure thing, but why not try some zoomed-in details, too? Pearls, lace, and embellishments are worth their own close-up moments.
GETTING READY : Lots of precious moments from a wedding day begin even before you walk down the aisle. I feel the most intimate photos of the day starts with the preparation of the bride. This is a special time and there is so much happiness and gorgeous smiles that you definitely don’t want to miss.
PRO TIP : Try to get ready in a room with good levels of natural light if you can AND keep your room tidy, remember if there is mess in the room there will be mess in your photographs !!
If your blouse has a knot or if your dress has bead work in the back, it will be nice to include your mother and bridal party in this special moment.
ACCESSORIES : When it comes to all aspects of your wardrobe remember, “details, details, details ! ” . Capture everything right from your jewellery to your shoes! trust me, you will be glad you got these later on.
Veils are often the final finishing touch that offer just the right bit of romance. Not only is the moment the veil is lifted over your head magical, but it also makes for a stunning photo. A shot this classic could’ve come from any generation.
SAY CHEESE : Once you are ready, Make sure you get ample time before the ceremony starts to get yourself clicked the perfect princess shot. Relax and let the photographer bring the best out of you!
If you are not the shy bride then make sure to take one of these whacky, unconventional fun shots to remember.
So you’ve instructed your photographer to take shots from the front, back, and side, but what about from up above? This bird’s-eye view puts your dress in a totally new perspective.
Also, You could sit down with your lehenga/dress lifted up a bit to shows off your pedicured feet, stunning mehendi, and your bridal heels!! 😀
P.S Since we can’t put together all photos in one post, we’re going to split it into two parts!
UNTIL PART TWO,
